:-) It's amazing how God can, and will, bless you when you least expect it! I, only recently, started going back to work, and haven't been paid yet. I'm a substitute teacher, for now. My car needs a brake job, and I'm sitting on a half tank of gas. I will be working, the next couple of days, thank God for that; but without much gas in my car, had planned on not going to church today, and I never miss. I did, however, as is my way, get up and spend some time with God, by reading my Daily Devotional, which is sent to me, via email, by my pastor. I was encouraged by the message, "Never Give Up"! Never Give Up, when times get tough; Never Give Up, because God has your back; Never Give Up, because, "We've been called to live victorious lives"; Never Give Up, because, though God never promised us, we would not have trouble in this life; He did guarantee that we would win! We must never get discouraged or give up! Now I said all that, because, it was then I decided to get dressed, and go to church, inspite of my circumstances, and when I did, after receiving another good word from God, by what was preached, I was unexpectedly blessed. A young lady, sitting next to me, just as we were being dismissed, turned to me, handed me some money, a $20.00 bill, and said, "God wanted me to bless you today, with this". :-) WOW! All I could say was thank you, and think, at least I don't have to worry about the gas now. God is Good! I stayed for the next service, paid my tithe on it, and will be putting the money in my gas tank tomorrow. :-) I'm thankful, that God can, and does, bless you, when you least expect it. I'm thankful, that God made a way, for me to go to church today, and still be able to get to work this week; and I'm thankful, that upon hearing that word, about not giving up, I listened, and acted upon it, to go to church anyway. He's AWESOME, just plain AWESOME! So, how's your day going? :-)

My day just got better reading about God and knowing that God will always take care of us and show us the way. :)

I am happy that you had that experience. Also - I am happy that you are working - because I think you'd make an excellent teacher!

I love your testimony how the Lord supplied your need as you decided to go to church even though it would be a hardship. Thank you for sharing with us. Phil 4:19-20 But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus. Now unto God and our Father be glory for ever and ever. Amen.

Amazing, thank you for sharing! God is truly wonderful and blesses us in so many ways. It is so easy sometimes to get bogged down in the everyday hassles and burdens of this earthly life, but we just have to remember that everything we do is for His Glory. God Bless.

Thank you ladies. As stated, I was truly amazed, that a person who just happened to be sitting next to me, would bless me, like that. I thought, afterwards, had I not listened to the Holy Spirit, and gone to church; I would have missed out on two blessings, the lesson taught today, and we are always blessed in that way, but also the cash. As one of the Olympic atheletes said, I may have been blessed, but God gets the Glory; and I certainly don't mind sharing a positive testimony like that. :-)

Wow! I needed that testimony today. I've been going through some hard times and my pastor (who is also my husband) preached a similar sermon yesterday about God always being what we need and that He will supply what we need, not what we think we need or want, but what He actually knows what is best for us. God is so great! It really blessed my heart reading this. And I am actually in college right now to get a degree in education and I have been having people try to push me in a different direction but I feel that this is where I am supposed to be. You are right the Lord will bless! Thank you for sharing!

Thank you for sharing your testimony....as you can read many of us have found ourselves in similar shoes and have been blessed in many ways. For years I had had people come into my path who needed a helping hand and God always asked me to share with them...faithfully, I did. Then in 2009, Hurricane Ike took everything I own and I was not only homeless but had only the few things in my car left of my 62 years of life. The day after the hurricane hit, I went to church with a friend in another state...I was broken but I knew God would meet my needs and so I once again shared what little I had with those who had also lost everything....in a week's time, God provided me with a furnished home, gave me a new church family, found me a job, and the insurance check came quickly and with a full payoff. No one can ever tell me that God is not awesome and orchestrates everything that happens in our lives to our good. Yes, He is King... May he continue to bless you in wondrous ways....
