Great choice! Super healthy fatty acids, high in protein, fiber and good cholesterol, alkaline, and a delicious raw food.

Poke (or sashimi) is a must-have whenever I go grocery shopping. Love this stuff. I used to diss raw fish (grew up in German culture in Minnesota). We did NOT do uncooked fish. But it's now my favorite treat. Way to go!

Nom nom nom, and I was just thinking about dinner for tomorrow night... Dinner for tonight is already planned. Have to see if I can get sashimi for home somewhere.

What is Salmon Poke... everything else about this I absolutely love except for this unknown? Real curious to find out?

Bandrai, Poke is a dish made from raw fish, in this case salmon, and various ingredients. Most include sesame oil and sesame seeds in the mix.

Hey Bandrai, google "Umekes" or "da Poke Shack", both great sources of fresh poke over in Kailua Kona, Big Island. It is very addictive in a good way...they even sell it at Costco and most supermarkets. A supply of fresh fish is key though.
