I have a confession to make. I been binging and purging, and it's getting worst. Almost any food at all makes me nervous. I already did it twice today. I want to stop...it's not something that I want to be doing. I've gone down this road before and it doesn't lead anywhere I want to go. I'm just struggling...

I have a psychiatrist and a therapist...and they both know what's is going on, as does my GP. Unfortunately...although I am working on it...it's getting worst.

If it's getting worse... you're not working on it... you're making it worse... Maybe find another psychiatrist or therapist.. or even support groups in your area... you don't necessarily have to pay someone to work through your problems... sign in here, message someone, call someone you know, find others who've been through it...

Try the number. Sometines help comes from someone saying that one thing that clicks or calms you down enough to refocus. Please add to your support system. We are here for you but so very limited in what we can do to help.

And definitely, if it's getting WORSE, call that number. That's what they are there for - to help you. That's why they are at the other end of that phone line 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year -- because those people genuinely care about you. They don't get paid to be there... They just want to help. Waiting for you to just reach out... And it's ok, you will only find love there. NO shame, no condemnation. My prayers are with you sweetie. I pray you find the inner strength to overcome this destructive cycle you find yourself in. Peace and love to you!

Stay Strong! Try reading the ingredients before eating and you will be amazed how it changes your attitude on eating- it's all mental- stay strong! Results are not given" they are earned! You got this!!!!

Glad you came clean. Do you purge everything you eat, or do you purge after what you consider a binge? I guess there is a whole range of complex stuff that could be going on. What is healthy, what is a binge, how much food is enough, how much food is too much. I have been really fat for years, and it's really not so bad just being fat. I mean, be fat while you figure it out. Get professional help, do your research, and be okay with soft fatness everywhere. It's really okay to be in the body you have and be safe in the body you have.

Alanna, as a student of neuroscience, you must know that your neurotransmitters are out of whack. This is not your fault, but it is in your hands to heal. No one else can do it for you, but you will need help and it will take time. I speak from experience. Accept and follow the medical help, but also eat healing foods and no damaging foods. My heart goes out to you. Healing is coming your way, open your spirit to it. Sending you loving support.

hey, Alanna. This must be scary for you right now. i can kind of feel you cause i'm a compulsive overeater and sometimes it just rears its ugly head. It does it to me especially when i think i got things under control. I just want to say hang in there. It is good that you know what's going on with yourself, too. Is there something happening in your life that's triggering the binge's? Sometimes when i walk through the stuff that has been happening with me, i can see what's triggering me. It's happened a couple of times since i started therapy again. we talk about something that happened way back when and all of a sudden all these other memories come up and freak me out. I'm praying for you, girl. I know it's hard. but i'm confident that if you licked it before, you can do it again. Love and blessings.
