Doesn't it make you feel good when somebody finally notices and will say to you "gosh you look good, you've lost a lot of weight"... just makes your day - congratulations !!! 

Notfast - I am on Cloud 9! This one complement should keep me on the straight and narrow until I lose the next 23.  

I think I love him! lol I love when people we are not in contact with regularly notice is fantastic! 

That's so sweet! And yes, it is just the 'shot in the arm' you need to puff up that chest and say...I CAN DO THIS THING!!!! And you are! Much Love. 

LOL - that is sooo cute! But, just the way it goes. People who see you everyday have a hard time noticing the slow change that goes along with healthy weight loss. It is the people who you see like your lovely grocery store guy who all of the sudden says, HEY, Have You???? You look terrific!! Enjoy your cloud 9, you deserve to be there!  

Paula - I didn't realize how much I needed this "shot in the arm". Guess I'm human too.  

Pixi and GG - Maybe you are right about seeing someone everyday - that the change is so gradual it is not so noticeable. Besides, I should be doing this for me, not anyone else.  

Yes you should be BUT it is always nice to have our hardwork noticed! 

Congrats on the 23 gone forever... and I don't blame you loving the person that says your looking good..LOl..makes all your hard work worth the effort...have a great evening.... 

Bren - You bet your Sweet Bippy it is gone forever. I'm really motivated to get to my new mini goal which is -4 more pounds. Not only will that will put me into the 50's, but it will mean that I'm half way to my goal. Thanks for your encouragement.  

Any time girl friend...you motivate me every day..and I love ya for it..4 pounds pfft no trouble for you girl...you'll have to bring out your poodle skirt soon...LOL  

Buffy Bear Is doing well!!!!!!!!! Shes not blaming Bush, Obama or her Mamma.. She has taken control... Think Peace, Intl peace day today and everyday!!!!!  

Bren - Well, we'll see which one of us loses 4 pounds first. 

Lisa - I appreciate your confidence in me. 

What a sweetheart he is! You now know that your weight loss must be VERY noticeable for a non-family member/friend to actually say something to you on the very sensitive subject of weight. Way to go!!!

lol Buffy!!! I really don't get the people around us, I do think some are just jealous and secretly want us to fail so don't comment. But yah for the old guy in the store!! I was recently in a town that I moved away from 18 months ago and decided to pick up a Chinese Takeaway - now the lady who serves there knew me very well, so I was quite surprised when I greeted her she just acted like she didn't know me. So I placed my order and said "oh, remember no onions in any of the dishes" - she stopped and looked at me with complete surprise mouth hanging open and then finally she said "oh my gosh, it's you.....I didn't even recognise you....you are so young and so slim!!" - well I could have leapt over the counter and kissed her. 

OH Triaby, that was nice that she didn't even recognise you..you have changed alot..I saw your pics of before and after and your a beautiful women...Sorry Buffy, just had to hijack your journal to let her know... 

Oh thank you Bren - you know I think me learning to be more comfortable in my own skin has changed the way I look (or perhaps the way I look at myself??) - I have never considered myself attractive, I have had so many hangups about my life before, it is only now that I am standing tall and being proud of who I am.....it's been a long journey....but it's been a worthwhile trip :)
