Only up to about 7,000 steps today. Went outside after getting home to work in the yard, started pouring. Dang!! Anyway I caught up on some needed phone calls etc so all not lost. Also retrieved my daughter's cradle from the attic, she is due at the end of the month so I need to get it cleaned up and delivered to her. Heading for bed early, tired. Sleep is a very good thing. Underrated, too often.
Lots of green veggies today, also red and white ones, a good thing.

I understand about the rain there has been a lot here too, I have lot's of weeds to tackle in my bed's however; I try to think of this way instead there will be lot's of flowers and the grass will be green and stay that way.
How exciting to have a new grandchild on the way!

The rain is good, we had almost nothing over the winter. A town north of us though had quite a bit of flash flooding last night, was glad to hear that a friend's home who lives there is safe. We missed most of the storms, looks like we are in for a stormy night. Nothing severe is predicted at this point. Yup another grandson will be arriving soon. I was hoping to get the plants in before the rain started today. did not happen.

HCB, LOL it wasn't hers when she was little. She had it stored at my house from her 2'nd boy, this will be #3 for her. Glen, glad you enjoy yours, grandkids are a blast!!! I spend lots of time with my grandkids, especially the 13 yo triplets (they are gramma's boys). This will make for the natural ones 8 boys and 2 girls and there are 2 more step grandsons. The natural ones range from, Spent the weekend before last with my daughter's family, granddaughter turned 16 that week, was heading for prom on Sat., and took me for a ride in her "new" car. 5am and the rain stayed west of the city but is encroaching, probably in time for my drive to work.

Thanks Buffy. I have to haul a bunch of stuff that I have stored of theirs down to them now that they have some of the remodel done on their new house. They live about an hour south of me.
