8,416 steps yesterday .

Hoisted and hauled more bags of top soil and compost to re-fill a settled raised bed that I built last year. It had rained some during the day. The dang stuff was too wet to be able to even out and get it ready to plant. Hoping it will dry out some today before the rain comes back overnight.

Thunderstorms are predicted every day through Sunday after that so want to get the plants in I bought on Sat.

Am using cut baby greens from my garden in my smoothies and some of the store bought kale. The arugala difinately adds some spicyness! Yay! no more store greens for a little bit. Asparagus from the yard and portabellas for part of dinner and an oriental noodle dish with the leftovers for lunch with tempeh added for protein.

Those veggies sound exotic and delish. Jerry, I'm envious!

just greens, asparagus, and baby bellas. Fresh picked the flavors are so good. I love having some veggies growing, I miss them in the winter.
