The little things that make me happy; the chart notes from yesterday's visit to my neurologist describe me as slender! I have old ones that describe me as obese, overweight, well nourished (giggled at that one) and now slender! I'm keeping that one!

Yesterday was great; my favorite Zumba instructor was happy with the box of my cookies I took her, even gave me a hug. Later, when she split the class down the middle & called people out to lead their half of the class in some dance moves in the middle, I got called out for the first time. Feel like I did okay, too. :o)

I had gotten up early to make frosting for the praline charlottes and bake some fresh twin chocolate delights; their were plenty of cranberry orange coconut oatmeal cookies I'd baked Tuesday evening. After Zumba I hurried home, packed another box (I have cool bakery gift boxes I got on clearance after Christmas last year) for my neurologist, ate a quick lunch, went by my apartment to check when the resident holiday dinner will be, then rushed out to my 1 pm neurology appt. Which went well; my MS is stable, I'm doing pretty well.

I have a large container of cookies ready to go to the senior center; I hope I didn't miss when my neighbor is delivering her eclairs there!

Today I'm baking Red Velvet Cookies with cream cheese (reduced fat) frosting for my partner to take to work to give to employees with their Christmas Starbucks mugs. After my exercise class this morning, of course! I'm taking today's instructor a box of cookies, too; she has kids & a husband that enjoy them & she'll have a couple.

My cranberry orange coconut oatmeal cookies turned out so well that I plan on using it again, but making it lemon blueberry coconut oatmeal; great presentation, FullaBella! You should see these boxes of cookies with the frosted cookies in the cellophane window, with the edges of the twin chocolates on one side & cute little macaroon-looking cookies with jewels of cranberry showing....:o)

Only downside is I did finally get my TOM (first time since February, ugh) , & ate a few cookies; won't do that today.

Have to bake another loaf of bread, too. The house will smell great this afternoon! Guess I should figure out something for dinner, too; maybe we can go to Sweet Tomatoes.

WOW - were you a baker as a profession or something? I am so glad your MS is stable. You are taking such great care of yourself. it is no surprise your overall sense of well-being is positive. How is Beau these days? recovered?

Oh - and you DO look incredibly slender in your profile photo!

Thanks, HCB! I'm wearing my size 8s in that photo. :o) Beau is doing much better, thankfully. I just love to bake, especially cookies; the endless variety and levels of complexity. I've been reading a series of murder mysteries that include recipes from the hero; a woman that has a cookie shop. Light, fun reading with awesome recipes to try. The author even put out a cookbook, which of course I bought when I happened to see it at Target.

CK would LOVE to see them - send me a photo (if you want). You describe them so well I'm already imagining them. I feel like I just ate a dozen guilt free cookies just reading your journal ~ Mmmm! I don't think I've EVER EVER EVER seen 'slender' on a medical chart. I've seen 'frugal' on my tax return though ~ something to live for.
