I recently hit my goal weight. I am so happy. I have a question for the community though. I am trying to lose the last 10 pounds now. Should I set my new goal weight at 5 or 10 pounds? I know it is going to be more of a challenge to get there this time. Any comments would be appreciated. :*)

Congrats on meeting your goal - Great Job - I'm near my goal but I'm finding out that maintaining the weight is harder than losing the weight - I'm now working on changing my current body composition as a goal (more lean musle, working on reducing my body fat content, etc.) -

Try to just stay with what you’re doing and when satisfied slowly inch up your intake! Just a thought!

I would suggest go ahead with the five pounds and then maybe increase weight lifting and do maintenance calories

awesome job, you lose your history I think if you modify your goal. so if you are setting a new goal then go for the full 10 pounds

I have reached two goal weights now, the second was a small amount I find that’s better for me as my weight loss is slow and I didn’t want to be discouraged. Well done to you

Remember, whenever you change your goals, it has a habit of dropping some older data (or resetting the initial weight altogether)... regardless, if anyone wants to look at your entire history of progress, they can just view your profile, and be inspired!

I'd go for 5 at a time so you can celebrate twice! Small goals give me a feeling of accomplishment.

Go for the 10, you'll feel that much better about yourself when you hit it ;-)

For me, I do 5 at a time because larger goals overwhelm me and I like more wins. 🏅Everyone is different though
