Carpenterj, a croissant is not "diet food," even if it is "flaky" and even if you only eat one. The carbohydrate will raise your insulin levels and that hormone makes your body hold on to fat with a death grip. Plus, there's nothing to a croissant that will keep you satisfied till your next meal. I suggest considering a low-carb/high-fat/medium protein diet. Check out DietDoctor.com for great info. And good luck on your journey! We're all in this together!

I have tried to add Rapid Weight Loss Chocolate Pudding to the lunch today, the app will not take the barcode, I put in all the nutrition info and it would not take it. I tried putting in the ingredients on the add recipe and it came out wrong. How do I get this food in the tally?

A croissant is in my lifetime diet, yes it won’t keep u satisfied for long period of time but one 🥐 won’t make u fat.

Don't listen to quacks that tell you a croissant will make you hold onto fat. If you're in a calorie deficit, you will lose fat. Concentrate on protein intake and watch overall calories.

Science is greater than hypotheses. Dietdoctor.com should be avoided. Go to Examine.com for facts backed by science. Condemning a macronutrient, one that is in natural foods, is just ridiculous. I wonder how millions including me lose fat despite a high amount of carbs? It's nice to be magical and avoid the evil carb that causes a fat death grip. Wow.

I find idle time is the hardest for me. If I stay busy I don’t even think about food. When I am idle I start to think about eating. Drinking some water regularly helps me and so does eating a sub 200 calorie Lean cuisine meal or a cup of fresh steamed broccoli with some siracha sauce. Good luck. I’m down from 204 to 187 with another 8 LBs to go since last October.
