Spinach and Strawberry Salad
A great fresh flavored salad.
Ingredients
Directions
- In a large non-reactive bowl (like glass, stainless steel or enamel), toss the fresh spinach and strawberries.
- In a small non-reactive bowl, whisk together the oil, vinegar, sweetener (like Splenda) and paprika.
- Pour over the spinach and strawberries, and toss to coat.

Looks good...
make sure your vinegar is apple cider vinegar, you can use olive oil but limited so I'd prob make it Flaxseed oil instead.
Splenda is a big no no....use stevia :)
as for food mixing, you can mix the two in phase 1 and 2. Its in phase 3 that food mixing no nos come in to play.

Sounds good, but the book says (page 76) not to eat fruit and vegetables together.

I love this recipe. I first tried it at a restraunt here called Ryans and I asked the chef how she made it and she used spinack leaves, diced strawberries and Kraft light rasberry vinaigrette dressing ( a little bit goes a long way !!)

Just substitute step 2 with flaxseed oil, apple cider vinegar and cayenne pepper and it's an excellent spring salad choice for fat flushers of any phase.
