- In a Dutch oven, brown chicken with 2 tablespoons of butter. Remove the chicken then add remaining butter. Sauté chopped onions, carrots, and garlic until tender.
- Whisk in flour until blended, gradually stir in milk, cream, bouillon, and pepper. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat, cook, and stir until thickened for about 2 minutes.
- Add gnocchi and spinach. Cook until spinach is wilted for about 3-4 minutes. Add chicken, cover, and simmer for 10 minutes.
