Lost 40 pounds over last year, but don't want to lose more
You're right Katherine. I need to eats LOTS more than I am doing. I'm barely getting to 1500 calories on many days. Once you give up bread, dairy and beans it's darned hard work keeping the weight on.

Lost 40 pounds over last year, but don't want to lose more
Thanks Spacey. I'm hoping to head off to the gym later today as I've not been for about six months, and haven't been going properly for over a year due to not being well.

I figure I'll just start off with some light weights and a bit of gentle cardio on the rowing and walking machine.

I need to get back into the habit again.

Hey, maybe now I've lost so much weight I can get myself a six pack - lol!

Lost 40 pounds over last year, but don't want to lose more
I've been having a few health issues over the last year. Due to various dietary changes I've lost a lot of weight (40 pounds). I'm now as slim as I was when I was in my twenties, which is good, but I don't really want to get any slimmer. Also, I feel I have lost a lot of muscle mass, so I want to get back to the gym and build that back up, but I don't really know what kind of workout to do at the gym, as I can't afford to burn up too many calories as I'm on the Whole30 diet (based on the Paleo diet) and I'm struggling to get enough calories as it is. I'm on that diet because I'm trying to find out if what, grains, dairy, etc, are causing my problems.

Advantages of a steam room or sauna
One benefit is that it helps rid your body of toxins as they will get released in your sweat. Apparently, a typical gym type sauna or steam room is not as good as a near infra red sauna for shedding toxins, but it is still a good start I would have thought.
