I'm a teacher living in Quebec, Canada. I've lost weight using a similar app before, but fell off the wagon some time ago. I'm aiming for a loss of about 110 lbs over the next year and a half or so.

Update Jan 2022: Well, this isn't good. I stopped logging for a while, and now instead of 110 lbs to lose, I have 140 lbs to lose! We'll see how that goes, might have to adjust my goals a little at this point. But I very much want to see this through, however far I can get with it!

Big Change: Sounds like you have many obstacles in your path! I admire your spirit though, in finding ways around them. I'm glad the aquatherapy is helping! A friend of mine has been talking up IF, and I've been curious about it. I've been thinking of trying it, perhaps something simple like 16/8. You'll have to keep us posted on your journey!

That's wonderful! I wish you all the best! I'm hoping to increase my physical activity as well. In the past I've had great results just from adding walking into my day, and plan to get back to that.

How Often Do you weigh yourself?
I weigh myself most days, and keep track in a spreadsheet. I don't update FatSecret every day, though. It works for me because it keeps me thinking about being healthy. I always weigh in the same way, at the same time: right after getting up, after going to the bathroom, no clothes. Still, it jumps around a bit from day to day, but the general trend is what I'm interested in. I don't expect it to go down every day, and I don't try to associate my weight one day with what I ate the previous day. I try to keep a longer time horizon, and that works for me.
