WOW! How did I go from an athletic, bikini wearing body to this??? Holy cow! So, here I am trying the Atkins diet after many people told me how well they did on it. I have a 3 month old, a one year old and a 7 year old. Needless to say, finding time for me is rare. I'm here for support and motivation so if you need a buddy, just add me!! If you think you can keep me motivated, add me!! ha ha! I am the 3rd oldest of 8 children so I was raised to do my share..mainly cooking. Ahh, country living. So, I never grew out of my love to cook big family meals. Before my kids develop my bad eating habits, I need to change. I will do this, darn it!

SO, WHY DO YOU TO LOSE WEIGHT?
I want to have (try) as much energy as my kids. I want to walk with my head up while out in public (my husband pointed that out to me recently). I just want to feel great and be healthy!! I used to want to go everywhere and meet everyone. Now that has changed because I'm so ashamed for my husband. He says he doesn't care but I would if I were him. I am a completely different woman than what he married. This will be the last time I ever do this...this is for good!

Induction Phase?
Is staying on induction for a long period of time (months?) bad for you or OK? I have a massive amount of weight to lose and I feel if I go onto the next phase that it will slow down my weight loss and it will take me longer to reach my goal? I'm on my 4th week into this new eating lifetsyle. Please give some insight!!
