Hello Everyone. I'm 44 with an 11 year old daughter and a spouse of 17 years. My life has been a roller coaster since 1999 and so has my weight. One battle after another. I had found out I was ill with liver cirhosis in 1999 (I don't drink), so I have spent years on different treatments. In 2003 I was on chemo for a year, in 2004 my only sibling died, and in 2005 My father died. Chemo got my weight down to 124 but I lost it unhealthy so it came back with a vengeance. My usual 160 became 201.8 which was my starting weight on this site. I am trying desperately to take it off. First, because I don't respond as well to treatment due to my weight, and second because I hate being large when I am only 5'1". Its hard enough getting old but old and fat just doesn't do it for me LOL

Getting rid of the sleeping/resting entries in exercise diary
you can't get rid of the sleeping entry but you can the resting entry. Just click on the resting entry and reduce it by how many ever hours it says.

Hi and welcome. I think you are going to find out that once you really start to get into making the right food choices and portion size control that you are going to start losing weight. Just remember to get at least 30 minutes of exercise most days of the week. It can be really alot of fun. Is there a YMCA in your area? They have some great classes and belive me most of the people in the classes are in the same boat. You could do water aerobics or walk on the treadmill. I like it because you build a group of friends there and it makes it fun to go. Good luck on your journey and nice to meet youVery Happy
