great day, eating was eh, dinner could've been better, but I got a lot of dog walking in so that was great. I'm really liking the weigh down idea of being mindful of physiological hunger instead of 'head hunger'. I didn't realize how much of an emotional eater I am/was, but I have been eating out of habit more so than due to real hunger. I had three meals today, and 2/3 were all real hunger, no fake outs and it was good. I have to work on portions, but I love learning how to eat intuitvely b/c dieting tends to drive me crazy.

I was supposed to have a street fair in my town this week, but I'm not sure if it's going to work out. I have to give the event planner an answer tomorrow, but a lot of my materials aren't in, so now I'm thinking of just going as a guest and meeting with the local businesses because at this point it may just cause me more angst. I'm not sure if it's a sign that it worked out this way b/c I really wanted to take the Turbo Kick instruction and now I can, but I don't want to miss the networking opportunity to meet with people in my community and conveniently both of these things are all day events, we shall see.

Happy Friday, I still can't believe it's June time keeps going by so quickly. The farmers market starts this weekend so that's exciting too, hopefully I can get some good stuff for some fresh recipes this summer. I'm definitely going to have to make some pesto this summer, I'm on a mission! :)

Today is my last day at this temp assignment, :(. I actually like the place a lot, but I'm not sure if they're looking for someone perm to fill the position. Anyways, so far so good with eating for today. I've been adding some Choc Shakeology to coffee and it was great, but all the vits/nut prob get damaged when adding it to hot coffee so I decided to see how it would taste w. iced coffee; I've never had iced coffee before, as I'm not a coffee fan, so I wasn't sure what to expect. It was absolutely amazing, and now I'm so excited for a new summer drink. Usually when I add it to hot coffee it gives off a hot chocolate vibe, but I really liked this. I usually have my choc shakeology with almond milk or water which is kind of boring, so i like changing it up. So low cal/low carb/low sugar and stacked w. healthy goods.

I'm actually really excited, Im going to be meeting a college friend after I leave here. It's funny we used to always eat together during my senior year of college, and now we're both into health and fitness so I'm going to meet him at this nice gym in the city for a workout. I won't be working out since I'm wearing ballet flats, but I love to have a guy friend that I can talk shop with. He wants to be a personal trainer, and is Vegan so its great to get his perspective on things, since most guys on bulking diets eat tons of meat/eggs.

I've been looking into faith-based fitness/dieting for the past few days b/c I've been fascinated by the idea. I know BeachBody is releasing a new program so I think all the talk of it made me think about other people using the program. While I don't think it's for me b/c I'm not really a fan of gospel music, I know my aunt who first showed me it before bbody picked it up loved it and was doing it with her church. It reminded me of this woman I saw on the Tyra show who had this God-based diet, not sure if you're familiar w. WeighDown Ministries, but it seems the premise is having the person cure their food addiction, by giving into God. While I'm on religious, I think it's cool. They showed a dinner and these people pretty much ate what they wanted too, they just some how trained themselves to learn how to be satisfied. As much as I hate dieting, I love learning about all different kinds of eating plans because I know eventually I'll find something that will work and be easy for me to live with. I ended up ordering the series b/c I do have religious family members and I think it might help someone, but I'm very excited to watch the videos and hear the message. It was free too, I only had to pay $9 for shipping and I got the whole $150 program.
