My name is Terri. I am 46 and have 4 children ranging from 17rs-4yrs old. I Love Jesus and my passion in life is to raise my kids to love Jesus too! My most recent child I had at 42 and haven't been able to shed the extra 10lbs of baby weight off. I have always been overweight from my teen years on, and constantly been on diets my whole life only to loose 5-10 lbs but gain it back. I have never tried Atkins and a friend told me some people don't metabolize carbs well. I figure I could be one of them. So here I am, willing to try something new that may work for me. I read the book and it makes sense to me, so here I go!

A Day to Celebrate!
Oh my goodness it took me forever to find your thread, yeah I found it!

All I can say is amazing! You have been a key inspiration for me on my journey as well. I am so grateful for you! Thanks for being here for all of us and spurring us along the way! I am sure you are just in awe and still wondering if this is real. I know there are days I look in the mirror and still can't believe I am where I am, as I have thought the same way as you. Doubting that I would ever be where I wanted to be, but now it is so tangible, I still can't believe it. Sorry to write a book, but I am just so inspired today! GOOD FOR YOU!

Induction Phase
For me I have to stay under 15 total carbs to even get a small amount on my ketostrips. Super carb resistant. Everybody is different, I would suggest using the strips to really know.

Women and Strength Training
I love all this info, I will try to up my weight when I am working with the machines, my husband always told me to do that, but I would argue with him that I would get bigger, the problem was that I wasn't eating right, but now I am, so I am gonna try it.

Oh yeah and now my D cups are also C's, but I just got a bra with more padding, so they look the same. hehe!
