I'm a sahw and mother of two college age adults and a very old dog. I've had thyroid cancer and now I'm battling depression, high blood pressure and high cholesterol! My doctor says that if I can get my cholesterol down by the time I see her in three months I will not have to go on medicine for it. I like to work with fiber as in yarn for crochet and knitting. I am active in my church in the choir and teaching little kids about Jesus and playing piano for services. I hope to make a garden this year. My doggie is so old we don't walk those long walks like we used to. I'm doing exercise via dvds I have in the house. I'm serious about making changes to improve my health!

Is it just me?
I also agree; but I'm following Weight Watchers as a guideline. I just can't get myself to go there and stand on their scale and weight in and pay them for those 15-20 pounds I will lose... because usually I will be paying them and at a standstill or gaining it back! So I will try to gather support here. The only thing I don't like about this place is the name! I don't think it's a secret I'm fat! I don't like the word Fat! I feel that way when I go out of my house. I try on clothes and I hate how I look in them. At home I think I talk myself into thinking I look okay; but I'm overweight! Anyway; I think this place is great for keeping track of everything!
