I am a 51-year old mother of 7 and grandmother of 4. I never had problems with my weight until I hit age 40 and it has been a constant struggle ever since. I am currently on the second week of Quick Weight Loss Center Diet (I started the diet approximately a week before signing up on Fat Secret) and have lost a total of 8 pounds so far. 18 to go! Unfortunately, the losing part is easy for me. The real struggle seems to be maintaining. I'm determined to do a better job with that this go 'round. :-)

creativity on a 1200 cal diet?
I would recommend using lemon juice, mustard, vinegars (there are so many choices out there!), and herbs and spices. I make a great turkey chili using ground turkey breast and Wick's Chili Seasoning mix. It's delicious, low fat, and tasty. I'm eating low carb/low fat, so just eat the chili as is, but my husband and children enjoy it over grits or rice and sprinkle low-fat cheese on top.
