I've fallen off my massive walking of four miles a day. Now I do that only two or three times a week if that. My resolve is to eat half rations,go to one glass of wine per night.

I still have a little excess around my middle, but i'm seeing real results and have lost 11 lbs in 3 weeks.

My success has been from a very close following of calories and exercise. My calorie drop for the week shows I have dropped enough calories to lose just a hair under four pounds. And I lost, based on scale, 3 lbs or a little more. So I must be efficiently burning fat.
I started working with weights again, and its good.

Anything I focus on shows results. I'm doing much more than I formally did and probably losing weight faster. By the calculations of food in and exercise out, I'm losing 2000 calories/day. It takes a bit of will power at certain times, but overall not much. My dinner is a larger meal, I like it that way. Lunch is very spare.
I think if I could just make myself write down what I eat every day, I'd maintain my weight. Just that consciousness. Perhaps I can do it. Time will tell.
