Travel for work is about to ramp up and I'm trying to mentally and physically prepare to be making multiple day trips in advance of setting up shop in Charlotte for almost a week. The advantage of planning the meeting is staking out venue menus to see how friendly they are before booking. Putting road snacks together for tomorrow trip and preplanning meals. I'm determined to not let work derail me.

So I'm feeling a little torn today. The scale is not being very friendly. I know some slight variation from day to day is not big deal. It's more so annoying after starting off super hot and dropping. I refuse to become a slave to the scale each day and want to only weigh once a week. On the up side, clothes are beginning to feeling a little looser. Threw on some pants today that were tight a couple months ago, and as a result were thrown right back into the closet. Today they feel good. I could even admit I'm comfortable in them. I've been living in shorts since other things became tight and I refused to buy a bigger size.
I know I need to up my activity and hopefully the scale number and my size number will decline.

I knew my weekend would be my challenge with friends in from out of town and hosting a football watch party. I enjoyed my couple of drinks, I stuck to my plan aside from that and steered clear of all the extra pointless carbs. No more drinks this week. Sticking to water, water, water and looking forward to trying out some new keto recipes.

Down a little bit more. I'll take it. Super happy to be in the 180's. Eyeing up 185 in the near future. Discovered mashed cauliflower lastnight and was pleasantly surprised how awesome it was.
