I am a 75 year old great-grandmother who loves to read, sew and play the piano. I live in Stacy, NC near the sound and ocean. I love the water. I love spending time with my family. I am a Christian and attend a Baptist church. I struggle with my weight and with sugar and sweets. I weighed 115-120 pounds when I got married at an early age.I have two children age 55 and 58. 2 grandchildren. I had the stomach stapling in 1980 and lost 60 pounds and kept it off for 3 years. I then gained it all back plus 40 more. I have half off but am stranded with 50 more to go. I do alterations for a lil job at home.

Healthy Eating
Yesterday I joined a nutrition class through the Health Dept. The Atkins Diet was rated the least safe and South Beach was only a tad better. A good amount of protein is essential and good carbs. are where you get your energy and brain power. I have tried them all and am back on WW now and journaling everyday and keeping in mind the nutritionist guidelines. Everything needs toi be in proper balance. Use the pie at the bottom of your Fat Secret. Have protein 40% and carbs (good ones) and good fat at 30 % each. Saty away from as much sugar and soium and bad fat as possible. Dr. Mammylam has spoken.Cool

I LOVE "MAY I BE FREE TO BE THE ME THAT I CAME INTO THIS WORLD TO BE." We don't get a rerun of life so we need to get it right now. Smile We can do anything we really really want to do.
