I'm a 19 year old girl in Maryland. I am the greatest listener you could imagine, and you could count on me for anything. I want to have a more active and become healthy in my eating habits. I'm not sure if it's true, but I learned that girl's get their final growth spurt at 21. I feel that by eating more healthily I will be able to maybe grow an inch or so. My friends are wonderful, but all of them are the very outdoorsy type of people. I want to get healthy so I can go on hikes with them and not feel like I'm going to pass out and fall off a cliff. I used to go outside and play in the mud and dirt and climb anything I could. Then middle school came and someone very close to me passed away, and I just stopped enjoying going outside since it was that person that I did all of my outdoors activities with. Since meeting my new friends though, I've felt more compelled to going outside. Two of my friends have kayaks, and I used to like canoeing, so I recently bought a kayak and I can't wait to use it this summer. I'm really looking forward to losing this weight I gained and being able to be out with my friends without slowing them down for once.

Work-out at work?
I have a desk job, and not much time to exercise other than my lunch break (30 minutes). I have an extremely busy schedule, and I have tried reorganizing the things I do to allow for exercise. But when I reorganized, I was craming so many things into such a small amount of time, that I was way too tired to do anything. I don't have time to leave my building for my lunch break, so I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions as to working out in an office building.

Hey
I can't go more than a couple hours without chocolate. So I know this will probably sound weird; but if you add one square of 86% chocolate square (the kind Ghiradelli sells) and put it in a bowl of plain instant oatmeal and add a tiny bit of Splenda. It is the best breakfast in the world.
