I am overweight
I am obese! I need to lose a 80-100 lbs to be within the healthy range for my height and age. I was diagnosed with obesity around the age of 13 and never cared to lose the weight since I loved myself just the way I was, and it never got in the way of me being active.
As, I am getting older, I am realizing how important my health truly is, and I fear losing it, and getting stuck with illnesses associated with being overweight (like diabetes, hypertension, sleep apnea, etc.). So, I'm ready to make the change now! There I said it too, Steve, so now I can go out and lose it lol
PS And my primary care doctor promised to replace my wardrobe (about a year ago) if I ever lost all the weight and fell into the healthy range for my height. So, even though it's a little to late to collect on that little bet, I'll take this as an opportunity to prove to not only myself, but also him, that I can lose the weight the right way lol

Pretty Rad!
The more time I put into this website, the more I am starting to like it...but I would also like to have some buddies as well, just so I don't feel like I'm talking to myself all the time on here when posting journal entries lol...Can we be diet buddies?

What's You New Year's Resolution for 2011?
To not let little things discourage me, like an increased calorie intake for one day, or failing to work out 1 out of the 3 times that I intended to work out. My new years resolution is to just remember that I have to lose this weight to keep my health and check and love myself enough to do it once and for all.
