My name is Kate and I am 28 years old. I had a crazy busy year in 2009- getting married, going back to school and beginning a new job. All of these factors helped me to gain the weight back that I lost preparing for my wedding. As of 12/28/09, I will be going back to the gym and following the Weight Watchers plan... Hopefully I will be able to start going to meetings again, but this is also difficult because of my busy schedule.

As of right now, I am allowed 28 points a day. I am planning to go to the gym every Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday. I also plan on doing mini workouts during the day while at work and on my lunch break

I want to be able to RUN a 5K in 3 months and I want to lose 40 lbs by June 1 and another 40 by next Christmas.


About Me:

I live in Brooklyn, NY. I am currently getting my Masters to be a Social Studies teacher for high school students. I work in fundraising though for the time being.
I love writing, reading and watching tv... all very sedentary things, I know. Hopefully I will come to love working out as well.
