I'm starting over and I mean from the very beginning. Yes, gained everything back, but that's behind me. Don't look back, don't look too far forward (you'll always want to live for that "one day" that never happens). I'm living in this moment and starting to eat healthy again and exercise. I saved some of my favorite outfits from when I did lose the weight because I am going to be positive and get back into them.

I'm 56, happily married and have 2 wonderful daughters (35 and 16). I also have a brand new grandson :) One of my biggest loves are animals. I have 5 cats, 2 dogs, a rabbit and two very big aquariums. I feed the wild birds, feed the squirrels and love to go to parks/reserves where I can observe and take photos. Some of my other hobbies are gardening, cooking, crafts, photography, playing games (at our table or on my computer--pogo.com)

My plan to lose weight--exactly what I did before--count my calories and exercise. It worked for me. The only reason I gained my weight back is because I stopped doing what I was supposed to. With me, exercise is one of the biggest aspects. Unfortunately, I don't have anyone around here who likes to walk or exercise. I can't afford to join the gym yet (last time I had a membership, but when my hubby lost his job, I had to cut-back there). No excuses..I can exercise without a gym :) One of the biggest things I've given up is my glass of wine every evening. I feel like that bloated me up, so I've cut that out. I just have to figure out what to eat over the Holidays--LOL. Maybe lobster? LOL.

I'm looking forward to my new journey and absolutely love this site.

why are the caloires on this tracker less than other trackers
I think you really have to look. I've tried a lot of other trackers and they all vary. Actually, this one has been the closest so far.

Help please
I use the drop down to see if I can find my food first, but if it's not there, I add it. Be careful when you use the drop down box as I've seen the same item with calories/nutrition with totally different results from each other. When I first started it took more time, but now it's a lot easier.

Can someone give me some advice on how to upload my photos? I've tried on my bio and my journal and it says loading and just hangs there. It won't upload. Thanks!

Syncing FitBit with Fat Secret
Is there anyway that I can take the info from my FitBit and sync it on this site? I love this site, but went away from it when I started using my FitBit. I am noticing a lot of places are now syncing together--ex...Planet Fitness and FitBit. I would appreciate any help and I Thank you in advance.

GAINING Weight??
I didn't go by their calculation's for calories. I did a little research online and set my own. I love this site for tracking my weight, my calories as I enter them and most of all for the support. 1700 sounds like a lot, but it depends on your activities. I "try" to limit myself to 1200 calories, but that is because I have a desk job. If I had more activity, that would allow me to increase my intake.Confused
