Good morning, I downloaded the app on Monday, first timer, I just wanted to know if I am doing my entries correctly, as I choose from the drop down list when choosing food, or should I add my own nutrition values Question

I've been on the app every day for 3 months. When adding your meals, best to do the search option with a good description of the item. Try it a couple ways if the first try does not show a good match. You will only need to add your own food items in the rare case there is no good match in the search, and it is an item you will eat again. Adding everything listed on the food nutrition label helps everyone. There are a lot of entries. Verify the entry is correct to what you see on the label, as we all make errors sometimes when adding our own nutritional values.

I use the drop down to see if I can find my food first, but if it's not there, I add it. Be careful when you use the drop down box as I've seen the same item with calories/nutrition with totally different results from each other. When I first started it took more time, but now it's a lot easier.
