Does Wine Help With Weight Loss?
There's nothing wrong with a glass of wine, however most people will have a problem of stopping at one when you already have the bottle open and no one else wants any. All things in moderation. Keep you calories in check and have your grapes too Smile

RDI--shoot for reaching it or not?
This idea has come up a few times and I have wondered it myself. In my personal opinion I shoot for a bear minimum of 1200 and try to reach my RDI each day. I want my body to know that food is always available and we (my body and I ) will not starve. I want my body to know it doesn't need to hold on for dear life to the fat that I have for some unforeseeable rainy day in the future. I think if you feed your body, it feels safe and will work harder for you to achieve your goals. This is just my opinion. Good luck with everything !!

3 Top Methods to Lose Fat
It's my understanding that there should be absolutely no carbohydrates or proteins of any kind in the morning coffee. I have been following Dave Asprey "the bulletproof executive" and his "bulletproof coffee" http://www.bulletproofexec.com/category/coffee-2/

He uses an intense mix he has created called brain octane, but it can be switched with coconut oil. I would assume that almond milk would contain a few carbohydrates that would actually be pulling your body out of the fast? Not sure though.

I do a modified fast, everyday. So each day I don't eat until 12-2pm. I have found that the coconut il in my coffee goes directly to my brain. Within 10 minutes of drinking my coffee I am ready for anything. What kind of Intermittent fasting are you doing Marlene? Whole days without food or windows of eating times?

Hey Danyellehawk, Smile

I don't do coconut oil, however I use Almond milk. I've been doing Intermittent Fasting on Sunday's, Tuesday's and Thursdays' since the beginning of January and I found out that using Almond milk during my Fast does not or did not change the effects of my losing weight what so ever.
So I can see where coconut oil wouldn't either.

3 Top Methods to Lose Fat
I am not speaking to the duration of the exercise mentioned. But I will say, going keto is one of the best things I have ever done. I have never seen such a quick and amazing response from my body. I also include an intermittent fast, although I include Virgin coconut oil into a coffee in the morning. It's a bit of a trick, it's 100% fat content doesn't bring my body out of the fast to process any proteins, or carbs. Just keeps fuelling the fat I'm already burning. Coconut oil contains MCT, which breaks down quickly and is used easily by the body. I would actually like to include MCT oil in my coffee, but I can't get ahold of it where I am living. Do any other intermittent fasters out there include coconut oil into their fasts?

RDI's
Diablo360x,

I was giving my personal opinion according to my personal experience. That's soooo excellent. Thank you so much. I can't believe I had an extra 30 pounds of water in my body. Your expert opinion backed by science here, has really helped me understand. I cant wait to lose another 10 pounds of water. Soo excited for that. I didn't realize that all of this fat was really just water.

My carbs have been severely restricted for over a month and a half now. I dropped that water in my first week of low carb. My body didn't just suddenly hold on to 7 pounds of water. I am not eating enough glycogen to ever store that much water. But your scientific opinion means so much to everyone... Thanks
