Hi Guys! So I am new to this site, just happened to stumble across it when I was looking for how many calories were in a Tim Horton`s French Vanilla. (after learning the calories I decided to pour half of it out). Anyway, I`m a 32 yr old who`s been struggling with her weight for her whole life. I am tall so my weight has always been distributed evenly and I had been maintaining my weight between 290-280 for about 8 yrs. Even though I weighed that much, when I looked back at pics I didn`t look that bad and I still felt sexy. Now I`m sitting at 325 and I`m not feeling sexy. More importantly I have exciting life events that will probably take place within the next year or two including marriage and kids. I want to look great, feel great and be healthier. I have recently made friends in this small town that I moved to that have the same amount to lose as myself which as really given me a push. I am extremely grateful. I am finding myself waking up at 5:30am for a walk or to swim some days which never in mhy life before I would even dream of doing. This site is proving to be a great tool so far and look forward to utilizing it further to help me out and learning through the successes of others on here. Good luck everyone in your journeys!

You can still have some of these foods but it's all about portions. I'm trying to work from the 400 Calorie Fix which is a great plan because you can still have the 'vices' that you like i.e. pizza, donut, cookie etc but it's all about portion control. For example you can have a slice of pizza 1/2 of cottage cheese and a piece of dark chocolate for lunch so you're still eating the things you like and feel full as long as you're eating a small amount of it and that way you're not feeling deprived from these things and end up in a failing diet or even worse feeling guilty about having those things. Feel good about cheating using this Smile

Ok sweet. I can't wrap my head around loosing that many calories while sleeping, resting and driving. I guess if you're eating right and not doing exercise you can loose weight.

Can someone explain to me the Exercise Calories that are shown on your profile compared to the calories eaten. After entering my exercise it's showing 4385 cal, 1450 calories eating so it's show down 3400 and change. I don't get it. What does that mean? Hopefully I didn't confuse anyone.
