Hi everyone I am Amanda 27 years old and mother of two. I have been trying this diet again for the last 3 weeks and unfortunatly have not seen any results. I did cheat with alcohol a couple times and had a skip day recently. I just don't like the scale!!!! I am here to have support and get ideas from other dieters who know what I am doing.

Phase 1 of South Beach
Hi there I have been on Phase one for two weeks now and am going to try for two more before moving on. My BMI is in obese area so it is said that its ok to contnue on just not forever. I had done South Beach before and it works well. This time I joined a gym as well so my weight loss was not as drastic on the scale due to building muscle but I was told by a girl today that I met at the gym just two short weeks ago that I looked thinner! That was definatly a plusSmile I am looking for buddies to, it helps to keep me motivated and talk to people that understand.

I too am looking for a buddy , I am currently on phase 1 but I am 6 days in. I feel strong most times but really need someone to talk to that is understanding of what its like to go through this process.

Dieting at work
SO I am restarting this diet as of tomorrow but I havent yet bought new groceries for my diet. I work at the mall and am trying to come up with ideas for food that wont hurt my diet. I realize I will be bringing food to work once I get the groceries, but when your going out to eat what do you do? Any help or suggestions are welcome!!! Thanks

Hey everyone I am sure most of you have a yahoo messenger right? If not really easy to create and download. I am thinking we all should get on messenger so we can chat in a chat room. No to yahoo how about AIM? EVeryone take a vote and lets try to get this rolling. I think it would be fun. AManda

I have a gazelle one of the newer ones not with the resistants and all. WOndering if anybody has any tips on how to make that a fun excercise. I am also thinking of joining curves. Is it worth the money?
