Hello Everyone!!

My name is Morena and I am 40 years old. I am currently 70 pounds overweight. I chose the user name "4Morena2lose70", because I thought this would motivate me everytime I signed on. LOL! I am happily married to the most supportive man and have gotten him to join me on this weight-loss journey. I have two wonderful children ages 20 and 15 and live in Washington state.

I am beginning the "induction phase" for the 3rd time on Sunday, 1/23/2011. I, like many others, have started Atkins more than once, but feel I am finally focused and determined to become a healthier person and continue to strive to become just that. I really enjoy the food combinations on Atkins. Yum! :-)

I'm currently reading "The New Atkins for a New You" and have found a better understanding of what I did wrong before. As of 1/27/2011, I have lost 10 lbs and though I am aware of "water weight loss" and know that my weight loss will slow down when I hit "OWL", I am quite impressed with how great I feel on Atkins.

I am excited about this weight-loss journey and hope to meet other people who want to share the journey with me as well as help each other during this process.
