The OWL phase is going well and I am losing weight steadily. Staying forcused this time around has helped me tremendously. I'm not looking for instant results, yet I'm losing weight gradually and keeping it off. I began this year weighing 213 lbs and currently weigh 191!! I have lost 22 lbs!! In the past, I would have wanted to lose that in one month like on The Biggest Loser. I would get so discouraged if I didn't see fantastic and instant results. This time around, I am losing at a steady pace and keeping it off. Thank God for patience!! I'm truly grateful. ;-)

The OWL phase is going reasonably well. Even though I am not losing as much weight as I did in the Induction phase, I feel really healthy and I'm happy with my progress. I have lost 3 lbs in the last 2 weeks and although the weight is coming off slower than I expected, I am not complaining! The numbers on the scale are going down and my clothes are not so tight. :) I'm so glad I chose to stay focused this time around and keep it up.

I have completed the induction phase and now moved on to OWL. Yay!! :-) I do have quite a bit more weight to lose(about 60 lbs). I probably should stay a little longer in the induction phase but I felt the need for nuts and berries to keep me going and to not slip up. I have lost 15 lbs so far and I am quite focused on keeping with the plan this time around. I feel healthier than ever and feel motivated to keep going this time around. I'm really enjoying the "Chef Receipes" on the Atkins website. Has anyone else tried them?? They're really good. :-)

I'm finally following the Induction Phase 100% and boy does it work!! I allowed myself to be taken over by temptations last year and gave into the Holidays. That was my worst mistake ever, I gained 7 pounds and felt so sluggish and disappointed in myself. Now at 213 lbs, I made the decision to not allow anything or any holiday/occasion to derail me again. I began Induction on Sunday 1/23/2011 and I have already lost 10 lbs! I am following the program 100% and currently reading
"The New Atkins for a New You".
I now see and understand why and what I did wrong before and I'm inspired to stay focused and finally commit to staying healthy. :-)

I started well but with Halloween approaching, I began eating a lot of Halloween candy and fell off induction. I began having a couple pieces with my coffee and then just started eating them without even realizing how many I had consumed throughtout the day. With Halloween behind me, I will begin induction again and hope to stay focused this time!! :-(
