Okay. That's it. I'm going to stop weighing every day. It makes me crazy. It takes me a long time to get it but, I got it now. Whatever is going on is not going to stop me from this WOE. I have an appt with my doctor next Monday. Until then I will concentrate on the basics. Shoot for 84 oz water; 70% Fat; 20% Protein; 10%carbs. Walk and stay busy. Wish me well. ❤
163.4 lb Lost so far: 7.6 lb.    Still to go: 18.4 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.

You got it! LOL I found out I had to balance my macros a bit differently for loss with my insulin resistance. 🤷🏻‍♀️I’ve always tipped them more toward protein because I started hypoglycemic. So now I especially watch to not eat carbs without eating fibre and hopefully protein to balance it for me. Fat I can get away diabetic wise, with eating by itself. But it normally shows up with some protein attached too. LOL 💁🏻‍♀️

I weigh every couple of weeks, unless I am fasting....the scales are evil!

Some days I am with people who do not get the fact that I am on FatSecret in doing daily weigh ins. On those days I just skip doing it all together.

@murph for me, right now, better a scale then an injection of insulin or a grave. One was my choice, the other was looking to be my reality. 🤷🏻‍♀️You forget, people are here for different reasons. I was on the very same road that both my parents died on, at not much older than I am now and my doctor let me know I wasn’t far behind them. So...gee, a scale doesn’t seem so bad a choice.

Smprowett, l can appreciate your position and hope you stay healthy but with Jackie it's been this long friendly back and forth you see's trying different diets to lose a little wait and she yo yo's so l let her know just eat,drink and be merry

@murphthesurf but that is THE whole purpose of this site! Finding the Way of Eating that works for you to be Healthy in order to live your life the best you can! 🤷🏻‍♀️Jackie is doing exactly that! Trying to find the diet that works for her body and metabolism and shouldn’t be ‘kidded’ or given a hard time about it. IMO She’s a grown woman who is obviously intelligent so she needs our support just like everyone else here. We are all dealing through a screen and so don’t know what conditions might be behind the words that are typed on the other side. 🤷🏻‍♀️The ONLY one we CAN ever know about is ourselves, which is why I used myself for an example. Not to be self-centered, but to show a different viewpoint that you may not have considered. 🙋🏻
