At our work the treats are little Styrofoam cups of popcorn that came from a bag and center filled cookies no name brand. Not hard to say no to those. We have a cheap budget. I didn't buy any candy, if anybody comes to our house. I will give away my four year old grandson's treats. :) Even though other years, I have been prepared and purchased candy, we haven't had trick and treaters since the 90s. But I still bought candy for Halloween and ate it all up. Happy Halloween!

There is a daycare school at the corner of our block at the end of the parking lot, the whole place was swarmed with rugrats and EVERYBODY in the building ON ALL 5 FLOORS BROUGHT CANDY! now there is sugar flotsam (or maybe jetsam?) everywhere...

I didn't buy any Halloween Candy either because no Trick or Treaters come to our Condos anymore. Now I can stay true to my new weight of 185. Finally made it out of the Obese range to the Fat range, lol!

I used to keep candy at my workstation for my clients. But I *KNOW* that sugar is poison, so, while I'm not tempted by it, why should I provide it for my clients? Candy bowl is history!

I recently started working primarily from home and while I miss the human interaction I am so glad I will miss the Eating Season! I know I don't have the strength to resist the endless flow of holiday treats. And since moderation is an issue for me, it's not like I would eat just 1 cookie or 1 piece of candy! Maybe by next year I will be ready but not yet!

So nice to hear you say these encouraging things. I am throwing the towel in on holiday treats this year. I'm the same. I cant just 1. Yes!!! We can do it. It is worth the sacrifice. The body feels and looks better in the long run.

We had our Halloween party today, lots of young men work in my office, not to concerned about what they eat. I am proud of myself I ate my green salad (that I brought with some some home made baked chicken on it) a few corn tortilla chips, and a tablespoon of salsa. And two plain wings. And no Halloween candy!! I haven't had one piece all season. I'm happy to be off the sugar train. feels good!

No more than 6-8 groups of kids at Halloween and none of them I recognized as neighbor kids, of course my buddy ACROSS THE STREET SIC THEM ON ME! (one mom said she didn't if I was home because I wasn't parked in the driveway). Of course, That's what A GARAGE IF FOR! THE BEDROOM FOR THE CAR! (I go out of my way to make sure it stays clear and NOT get turned into a storage room just for that purpose!)...hmm, probably explains why I had so much left overs, meh..dumped it all on my co-workers they'll make it go away.
