Misery sleep post.

Old scale 126.5 New scale 128.4. I'm thinking 120 is my goal.  When my rings and closet of clothes fit, I'm done. A few more months.  If my clothes fit and rings don't,  then I'll get them resized.

We need to sleep for our health.  It's the last major problem I have.  Well, the good news is I lost some more weight.  The bad news is I'm MISERABLE.  Last fall, I was diagnosed with sleep apnea.  I've finally got a CPAP machine and am trying to use it.  It's so uncomfortable, and my nose feels like it's been bruised by wearing the stupid mask. I just want to sleep.  By the sleep report from the machine, I don't have obstructive apnea. It's central apnea, which makes sense.  It could be the cause or linked to my heart rhythm problems. It could be the reason I've struggled with my weight as well.  So,  I can't just give up. There is a message board with knowledgeable people who are helping. I just want to be the best me I can be, and right now,  I'm so tired I don't do much during the day.  It's frustrating. I'm just venting.  Thanks.

This is what the nose mask looks like.  😍  lovely, ehh!

Ohh and yesterday I was so hungry after thinking I ate a big dinner.  😫  I ended up having some more food because I felt so hungry. Then, this morning. I opened up the drawer to my fridge and there was my dinner I didn't finish 🙃  Corned beef.  Mmm, good . No wonder I was hungry! I'm so tired I forgot I didn't finish it.  Haa. I'm a mess.

Lack of sleep is awful. Have you looked into Inspire? Not a mask, it's an implant with a remote app to your phone. Probably $$$

I hope you can find a mask that works. It sometimes takes some trial and error to find one.

BADJUJU update. That implant is for obstructive sleep apnea. I have the less common form called central apnea. I don't have any obstructions. My signals to breath are not normal and i stop breathing. It's all new to me. Not to mention $9000 deductible so, this is all out of pocket.

Morticia maybe, I'm on my second but i don't have obstructive apnea so it is a little more complicated. Even I don't get all this stuff but I'm learning.

So sorry. Being so tired is awful. That mask does not look great. I hope it will help.

My husband has a CPAP, his mask goes over his nose and mouth. I don't know if that style would work for you and your type of sleep apnea, but it seems more comfortable than just a nose mask.

Hi waffle. I've got one. It's horrible for me. I sleep on my side and it digs into my face.

I so hope that you can get your rings to fit it has gotten so expensive to get them resized. I know I've talked a lot about having Ms but I also have rheumatoid arthritis and one of the biggest reasons why they went ahead and diagnosed me with rheumatoid arthritis is my knuckles have gotten larger by two ring sizes in the last couple years. one of the reasons why this bothers me is I can no longer wear my wedding ring. When I inquired about having it resized it was very much out of my price range which saddened me so I know where it on a chain around my neck when we go out and I want to show it off but it disappoints me because I can't wear it regularly to work or other places because it's not appropriate and would get in the way of the oven and I'm afraid I would damage it. So I very much hope that you're able to get around this issue easily

Leah, that's interesting about the auto immune and having bigger knuckles. That's quite possible for me. I'm quite suprised one doesn't fit yet. That's a big reason I'm carnivore for auto immune. I've only got 4 rings, but still $$$$. I'm getting close but my knuckles could be bigger.

Hope the ideal mask is in your near future. Sleep is challenging enough as it is!
