Scale Review: 👎👎 If you're struggling to lose weight, Read The Obesity Code by Jason Fung. CARBS PRODUCE INSULIN WHICH is the FAT storage hormone. They will also lead to insulin resistance.

My review of the Withings body comp scale. I think these scales are a joke. The weight might be correct but the body mass is a total joke! LOL . PLEASE don't take them seriously, they fluctuate so much. Seriously, 5 lbs of muscle mass change in a few days, ummm, no. I had a DEXA scan last fall, and will get another when I reach my goal size *fit into my clothes*. That's the only way to really know and I'm not sure how accurate they are, but it will be much closer! Save yourself some money. Don't get a fancy scale. I got this at a big discount so I'll keep it. Have a great day!! Yard work for me!

130.5 lb Lost so far: 99.5 lb.    Still to go: 15.5 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.

I have to bookmark this so I can read your review every time I get tempted to buy one of those scales (which is often). It looked very good though :)

Liv001 🤣 The first time I bought it and saw the inconsistencies. I returned it. The temptation is real 🤣 I bought the same one again. I'm a sucker 🙃 saved you some money!

I agree about the scales. I took 10 years off my age to see what happens and I suddenly had less fat and more muscle.

I find it helpful only when I am able to compare body composition within similar weight measurements. But you are right, bioinpedence scales are really bad for measuring muscle mass.

Things like this usually are junk. The only scales that are accurate are balance scales like doctors used to have. Plenty of doctors even have junk scales now. I'm an RN and one of my goals is to find a doctor with a balance scale.

Morticia, it works fine for weight. The bio impedance trying to measure muscle and fat mass are a joke.

Jeff 👍 even at the same weight, the muscle/fat mass are different every time 🤣 I'm glad I got that DEXA scan last fall. I'm just curious.
