I'm back! I appreciate those of you who wrote and urged me to return. With the elections over and the last-minute run I stopped logging my food and worrying about taking care of my health with the consequences of gaining a few pounds. I'm going to keep this short today because I have to get a lot of things done and I want to see what everyone else has been up to.
188.0 lb Lost so far: 12.0 lb.    Still to go: 13.0 lb.    Diet followed N/A.

Thank you all. The notes and emails while I was gone really made me feel good. It is just nice to know people are thinking of you (in a good way - lol). It is funny how you can connect across social media and touch other people in their daily lives.

The one thing I am not too sure on is protein intake (.7gr per pound - it seems like it is too much)

Yeah that’s more protein than I think I need. The calorie recommendations are very helpful though

From what I read on French websites, people who naturally use the metric system, recommendations are in the order of 1g/kg/day for older folks to maturation lean mass, so 0.45g of protein per pound.
