I was doing well before vacation a couple of weeks ago. Just a small set back.However, I had gotten my butt into gear working out every day. i hadn't given up my dream to get to my goal weight. I will say a lot of times I am eating out cause every one else is. But mostly its because I don't have too much of a choice. i am gone all the time and when I mention other places to go, no one wants to eat there. I don't want to fuss over where to eat at. I just go with it. But, ever since I started back up my exercise routine after the beach I had been trying to exceed my limit of what I can do. Sometimes its ten minutes others its 20-30 minutes a day. I try to get back on track. its just really tough.
330.0 lb Lost so far: 17.8 lb.    Still to go: 170.0 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.
gaining 7.2 lb a week

you can do it just start journaling again it will come to you

I agree. When I have a setback.....I have learned to just start again the next day instead of giving up. Journaling also helps me see just how much I overeat(portion control) I try to stay within my calories each day. Good Luck😄🌞

If you're going to places where you are eating badly, then begin making better choices when you go out. Choose healthier, smaller, greener, portions. Drink lots of water too always. =)

Exercise is great. Diet is THE KEY to getting that weight off and getting healthy. I eat alone a lot when cutting weight.

Try to order the healthiest items on the menu. Ask for a to go box when you make your order & place half of your meal in it for another day. Share a meal with someone. Order off the kids menu. Be more assertive about taking turns choosing the resteraunt.

What works for me when I go out or go on vacation I just order meat and vegetables no carbs.. and eat as much as I want this works good cause a lot of protein will fill you up and veggies are almost free… that way you can enjoy yourself and not worry about all the calories

Now that you’re home you can get back to your exercises, join the Y, shop for healthy veggies and start keeping track of your meals again. It’s hard sometimes, but try not to let other peoples’ poor choices get in the way of the progress you want to make.
