My back is "out". I don't know how else to put it since I don't know exactly what has irritated it so badly. I do know I have fractures in L5 vertebra probably since I was born that never healed and at least 3 disks have deteriorated. I probably have a disk pressing on a nerve. I can't sit, and standing is horrible. So far I have (painfully) been able to get up to go to the toilet. Tomorrow I have an appointment with the spine center of UCLA. Trouble is, those are surgeons, and I am 100% against surgery for me. I would rather die. At least they will order an MRI to compare to 8 years ago when I broke T11 vertebra.

Please pray for me for the lessening of pain and that I can get into the car tomorrow and into the office. I'm discouraged that this is the beginning of the end for me.

119.4 lb Lost so far: 0 lb.    Still to go: 6.4 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.
