Ok I expect a huge bounce back tomorrow but this is a true morning weigh-in so I will record it. After watching The Science of Fasting on Amazon Prime Video I now feel that the belief that I *need* to eat so many calories a day just isn't the case (for me). So yesterday I gave my myself permission to drink a cup of Miso soup and then have a butter coffee and declare myself done for the day :) The only solid food I had yesterday was a few pieces of skinless fatty chicken (delicious!). I then ran 5 miles so I am sure I am dehydrated (even though I drank a lot of Gatorade and Water). Basically I did this last week and bounced back 4 pounds and stayed there most of the week. 1 pound a week weight loss is all I can seem to manage no matter what I do... but I'll take it :) I'm sure I would lose more if I didn't take in 600+ calories in liquid when I do a liquid fast, but I avoid the uncomfortable Acidosis Phase. Perhaps next week I will try a real water only fast and get that 1 pound a day weight-loss that people talk about. Well Baby Steps...
202.5 lb Lost so far: 4.5 lb.    Still to go: 38.5 lb.    Diet followed 100%.
