Big Win this evening

Okay, I've only been dieting for a short time. This is my third week of eating well and making better choices. I've lost 8 lbs but that's not the big win. Tonight I went to my granddaughter's first school recital. Hubs dropped me off at the door because I tend to get winded very quickly. I have heart problems in addition to being 80lbs overweight and other health issues. I went in and enjoyed the program. Afterward, without even giving it a second thought, I walked right out with hubby, walked across the parking lot and down the street to where he had parked the car. It was about a block. When I got to the car, I realized that I wasn't even winded! Not a bit! And I talked non-stop all the way to the car. I haven't had that much wind in years. I felt SO good. Just wanted to share :-)

What a great Non Scale Victory! (NSV) 🙆🏻‍♀️You might look at a thrift store to pick up a walker with a seat so that you can go for walks and rest when you get tired. That way you can increase your stamina even more and do it slowly at your own pace! 🙋🏻
