Big Win this evening
Okay, I've only been dieting for a short time. This is my third week of eating well and making better choices. I've lost 8 lbs but that's not the big win. Tonight I went to my granddaughter's first school recital. Hubs dropped me off at the door because I tend to get winded very quickly. I have heart problems in addition to being 80lbs overweight and other health issues. I went in and enjoyed the program. Afterward, without even giving it a second thought, I walked right out with hubby, walked across the parking lot and down the street to where he had parked the car. It was about a block. When I got to the car, I realized that I wasn't even winded! Not a bit! And I talked non-stop all the way to the car. I haven't had that much wind in years. I felt SO good. Just wanted to share :-)
