Never thought about putting ranch on sardines. My go to is usually Texas Pete or yellow mustard. Yours looks better :)

It was delicious! A little bit of olive oil in the sardines as well mixed it all up nicely.

Glad you enjoyed your meal. When my kids were little we hiked a lot. They loved their sardines w/cheese and crackers. Not me... LOL!

sorry, bill I cannot do sardines. My Dad used to saute those and kipper snacks in butter and eat them on crackers. If you like them would probably make a good meal.

I eat about 5 cans a week.

A super source of protein and essential fats. They are a crazy mess to open so I stopped taking them to work, but I think if I eat them over the kitchen sink there I can get away with it!

I'm quite guilty of enjoying the 'dines every once in a while with a nice dollop of sour cream. Yours look great!

I’ve been afraid to try them😧 I bought them, but they are still sitting in the pantry! What is the best way to eat them for my first time?

I eat them right out of the can. I’ve seen people put mustard, tomato sauce, hot sauce, or other toppings. It really depends on whether you like the taste of fish. I do like them just as they are.
