What are y'all's thought about working out after seeing the chiropractor? I visit him once a week on Monday & the rest of my afternoon is free, perfect day for the gym. But is it OK or is it damaging? Thanx fam!

I would ask the chiropractor. But it probably depends on the work that is done during the visit and the type of workout you plan to do after. Somethings might be contraindicated and something else might actually help, it really varies by context.

Thanks, at first I was seeing him for pain relief. A sciatica issue, now it's more maintenance

For sure ask the chiropractor. I've had adjustments where I am not supposed to do anything afterward, but other times, it won't matter. They'll tell you what's right for what you're having done.

My chiropractor told me to. But everyone is different. Ask them first so you don't undo something.

I don’t recommend it. Your body needs to adjust to the session.

I am in the body work field, have seen various chiropractors myself and have worked with a few. Some reccomend walking around a bit post adjustment (instead of getting straight into a car) some say let your body settle for a few hours and then don't do anything too strenuous. The key is listening to your body. Great job taking care of yourself!
