*UPDATE*

Finally out of the obese category, now I get to joke that I am just normal fat, not fat fat (haha). Physical activity is improving, I'm working on reaching 10k total accumulated step a day, it is a heck of alot easier to exercise now that I've lost over 50 pounds.

My eating style is working for me, weekly I average around 1,500-1,600 calories per day (under 1,300 during the weekdays and more the weekends). I enjoy all foods in moderation, but I tend to stick to less processed food, lots of fruit and veg with healthy protein. I'm also working on averaging 25g of fiber a day and drinking half my bodyweight in ounces of water.

HI! I'm Amber, I live in the PNW with my hubby. I've been in a battle with the same 20 pounds for the last 20-ish years, I've gotten into onederland a few times, but I slip up and end up back around 220. Part of that is due to PCOS, how I cope with my world via food, and the choices I have made. In December 2017 I was back up to 230, and was so close to being diagnosed T2, and had to start taking blood pressure medication.

Exercise for me is tough, I've had mobility issues from an auto accident 7+ years ago. I've made strides in reducing pain with movement the last couple of years. I'm still trying to find that balance of being active, but not so active that I am injuring myself.

I'm tired of feeling broken, I'm tired of being in pain. I am tired of being fearful of being active. I'm tired of disappointing my husband when he wants to do physical activities. I want to be able to go hiking again.

My intention for 2018 is to be more nimble, wish me luck!
