chesgreen's Journal, 20 October 2017

Yikes... I am scared to get on the scale on Saturday morning for my 5 day weigh in due to 10/19/17 Dinner/Snack sins. I may hide from FS in shame for a couple days and stay away from from all foods, good or bad.

Told ya that I am a little fragile at times.

Freaking Processed carbs and a little too much to drink! I should have used my yesterday morning's weight and logged it in FS and head off into the sunset like a hero. I still have to look in the mirror and I am everywhere I go and I will accept this shortcoming.

I am a work in process.

I know by now, that it takes a few days for the scale to return to the downward trend after some massively poor choices within a 3.5 hr window, so I have to wait to see when the correction will take place.

Have a great weekend all if you peek at my 10/19/17 Dinner and Snack logs, NO JUDGING!!!!! Coach Ches is licking his wounds...

Onwards....

Oh yeah, transparency in weigh-ins or whatever check-ins one uses. I haven't been doing weekend abs selfies, because hadn't done any ab work in a while. It's not like I even post them on this account, but I couldn't face the reality even for my own monitoring. Thanks for the reminder; I'll get back to it. -- Maybe your so-called poor choices are really a boost for your metabolism? Keep the body guessing and all that?

Oh, my brother... you accomplish NOTHING by hanging your head in shame. Give it a good I.F. and hit the proverbial reset button!

ONWARDS AND DOWNWARDS. You got this Ches!

Maybe skip the scale on Saturday and wait until Monday or so. I don't like posting when my weight goes up so I'll wait a day or two. If it goes on too long then I post so I can see the trend in my weight line. But weight fluctuates SO much. But different things work for different people. You're so motivated that a day or so of not being perfect isn't going to matter in the long run.

No regrets, please! You did so fine, you'll reach Onederland (love this term) sooner or later...one day doesn't matter 🍀✌🍀

DO not hide in shame, Chessie! LOL! You are a funny guy!! That one day isn't going to put fat on you. But if you stay away from here, you will wind up eating more and more. So come on back, and track your food ... and realize that the extra drinks took away your will power that one Thirsty Thursday. (Yes, I read your journals ... and I can relate ... very well!) Hey! It does it to me every time! Just own up to it and move forward. Hugs!

Thanks all. I will get on the scale Sunday and own it. I am a warrior and I don't quit! I really appreciate everyone's support.

I'm sorry to see you being so hard on yourself. Not eating at all is unhealthy and so is punishing yourself and hiding out. You're human and have had a setback like every single person does. Forgive yourself and keep plugging away to a healthy future. If you're not happy with the numbers on your scale, stay away from the scale for a bit and move forward. You can weigh yourself when you know you're going to have a happy surprise. :}

It is part of living in the REAL world Ches...adjust and it will be back to normal. I know you want to be under 200 soon, I can give you one hint to get there inside of two weeks with a great chance at sustaining the loss and even going lower...but I'm pretty sure you already know it. Hope the next month goes super for you too., take care!!

You're only human coach. You've owned it, have a plan and you'll keep on truckin!!

I am amazed you didn't hit a 4 bagger on the 19th! I'm sure you know how to rebound from what most would consider a re-feed. Breakdown a one day hiccup over several weeks and you'll see how little it matters in the bigger picture. Continue on your road to Onederland and best of luck.
