I've been so successful this time (4.5lb in 5 days) that I don't want to mess anything up. It's so easy for me, right about now, to start having sugar-free packaged stuff, and I've finally decided that's a downfall for me. I started eating Russle's sugar-free chocolates the last time I was on Induction. Even though I stayed under the legal amounts of carbs for Induction, I stopped losing and never stopped wanting sweets. The first time I ever heard of Atkins (the rebirth of Atkins, that is) in the mid-nineties, there were hardly any "sugar-free" products. I know I was more successful then, (and 15 years younger!) I can't say for sure if that's my biggest problem, but I'm going to try without sugar alcohols this time. I might even stop my 1/8 tsp of splenda every morning in my MIM. I'm going to use those treats as a treat! this time, rather than as a "food". One of the things I have to learn is rewarding myself with something other than food. I've met people who do enjoy a food indulgence once in a while, but literally, the highest quality chocolate, or one scoop of rich, creamy ice cream. I could learn this.
