I spent all day in class and did fine. When I have all my food for the day in the lunch bag, it makes things easier. I'll do the same for today. No change on the scale this morning, but I have more time before I weigh in. The Seven Day Challenge was great to get me going, but it's better for me if I don't weigh every day. After the challenge is over I'll weigh myself once a week, and check my measurements. I love to see my BMI go down, almost more than I like to see my weight go down.
I got a whiff of that same old feeling when I stepped on the scale this morning and nothing had changed. It's almost like I feel like I "deserve" another drop because I did so well. Well, it doesn't work that way, and I need to remind myself. I get complacent when I look at the scale day after day and it doesn't move. If I move onto OWL in the third week, I'll start feeling better with my exercise, and it'll be interesting to see what foods I have troubles with. I already know sugar alcohols are one food that I can't get away with. Anyway, I don't want to dwell on this, but seeing the scale stay the same for 2 days brings back all those depressing times in the past when the scale stayed the same for 6 or 8 weeks and I just gave up. I don't want to do that this time.
