Romak's Journal, 04 February 2010

So this is for real. I stood on that scale everyday last week, and the scale did not move from 155. And it's definitely going down since February 1st. I'd love to break 150 by the end of induction, maybe even sooner. Next week I'll step up the exercise, so hopefully that will keep the metabolism going.

Yeah. This feels good. Sometimes it's daunting to think about how far I want to go, but when I look at where I've come from to get where I am today, it feels good. The 17-pound-goal is just my latest goal. I'm someone who needs to break my goals down to smaller, do-able sections. Once I get to 138, I'll be in "Normal Risk Factors" range. It's been a while since I've been there.

I'm riding high from my three pounds lost already this week, and it keeps me going. I don't think I have Atkins flu, but I've been feeling general malaise since I started. I'm hoping my energy increases soon, but in the meantime I'm keeping busy.

I had forgotten about my evening munchies. I'd had a good dinner, but I actually got that hungry feeling again. My guess is that it's from the water. When I drink, it makes me feel hungry or empty or something. I'll try to get all my water in by dinner today, then maybe have tea or something in the evening.

OH I'm doing fairly well.. I started Jan 5th and I have lost 14lbs.. it's been a little up down up down, but i'm very happy! and still much to lose but it's happening! My goal for Feb is atleast 10 lbs. whew! I'm up for it. =) Have a wonderful day!
