Greetings, Best Buddies:

I have felt a bit sluggish the last two days - they say the "Spring Forward" change often causes people to feel "behind" and more tired.

My two Idiot Boxes continue to revolve around 168-169. Although I am not weight number focused - I do hope to see movement toward my current goal of 165 before my May 6th birthday. I lose so incredibly slowly because of hypothyroid and other fluctuations, it may be challenging. But I persist and keep rowing!

CURRENT GOALS: March/April
* Idiot Box consistent weight of 165 by May 6
* Bodyfat at 27% by May 6
* Macros consistent: Average 65%-70% fat, 23%-26% protein and 9% (or less) carbs, with NET carbs always less than 20 grams daily
* Consume more fiber within the daily carbs macro
* Continue to lift heavier at gym – increase reps on heaviest weights
* Continue HIIT during cardio work
* Do the “crab” move by May 1 – I know what this means!

LONG RANGE GOALS: 2016
* Bodyfat at 25% or less (24%)
* Idiot Box in 150's (85-90lbs lost)
* Increased strength and flexibility

I have been feeling sluggish to. I usually get up around 6:00am - 6:15 am to give some time to walk my dogs in the morning. It aint happening. I have been so tired in the morning I have been sleeping in til 6:45-7"00am! I feel like its the Spring forward too. BTW keep it up! You will make your goals the harder you push and want it

HCB, my idiot box goes up and down daily-- the average stays the same. Slow is good, more likely not to gain it back and the closer to a good weight for you it often is slower and slower. Just hang in there.

HCB I am having the same problem as you. I got to 166.5, just half pound from my goal. Except for that one day that I ate cinnamon rolls, I have stayed exactly on plan, yet the scale keeps me at 168 and 169. My weigh in day is Friday and I have cut back drastically from my normal plan. We will see if that helps any. It looks like my body isn't going to let me weigh 165! It would be so nice to get to 165 and then weigh 165 the next week too!

Hey HCB, You may say you lose "weight" slowly but my bet is you are losing only fat, which is great!! You may even be losing fat while adding a wee bit of muscle weight, difficult, but not impossible with where your body composition is at. Here's to your continued success, losing fat and getting stronger...great goals!!
