liv001's Journal, 12 March 2022

My husband said I was skinny the other day. And I was thinking at 125ish I am not really skinny. But I do fit into my size 2 pants nicely now. I then went back in my journal and checked my measurements against those in 2019 when I last came down to this weight and I am actually skinnier at the same weight. So I am keeping my muscle mass pretty good.

Even though I gained weight last year I really never stopped exercising. I guess that part is paying dividend. That is inspiring so I will keep on moving this weekend. Hope you all have a good one

Good job keeping up with the exercise. I have to do both eating well AND exercising or I don't do either. Just got back from a short 20 minute walk with Bobby. I walk so slow, but keep on trying.

Thanks guys. about sizes.... they are so arbitrary those pant sizes... Probably when I was young they would be 6 or something but I have some pants I am trying to fit back into LOL

It's hard keeping up with the working out. You're doing great! ❤️ I cannot wait till I hit 125. It seems like it will never happen but I suppose it will.

Isn't 2 the number before 3? Never been a size in my world. LOL! Way to go! Gotta feel good to see all that work pay off!

Once I got down to a size 4 pants after a few months of dieting. I went shopping and bought alot of clothes. They fit me for the weekend! Then started to get tight.

Ha ha Fritizy Yeah ... I do have a pair of double zero pants... I don't think I will get back into them and it is too hard to maintain that low and really no upside. Something doable would be great

You are smart Liv. When I see people constantly struggling to maintain, my thoughts are: the goal weight is too low for what your typical life looks like. I would never set my goal weight at 100lbs even though I could get there, because I know I'm not willing to take that calorie reduction or run marathons. I'd rather be a bit heavier but still in good shape and maintain effortlessly than pick an impossible goal and feel like I'm failing all the time.

All the tracking pays off - marvelous

Thanks guys. You guys rock. I agree oats...but I have not really mastered maintenance. Maybe this time. LOL. Kalebeam... I do not track exercise. I just love being active but I do not want to quantify it... just enjoy it.

Girl, I just saw this now! "Skinny" is such fun to hear when historically that has not always been the case. I'm working on skinny again, although I haven't been in the 20's since probably 5th grade! 😍 You are doing so wonderfully, Liv!!!
